These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Decor website and the handyman and renovation services ("Services") provided by Decor, based in Brentwood, Essex, UK. By using this website or engaging our Services, you agree to these Terms.

2. Services

Decor provides professional handyman and home renovation services including, but not limited to, kitchen renovation, bathroom remodeling, general repairs, and plastering & painting. All services are provided within our service area covering Brentwood and surrounding areas in Essex.

3. Quotes & Pricing

  • All quotes are provided free of charge and without obligation.
  • Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
  • Prices quoted are for the work described. Any additional work requested or unforeseen issues discovered during the project will be discussed and agreed upon before proceeding.
  • Quoted prices include labour and materials unless otherwise specified.

4. Payment

  • Payment terms will be agreed prior to commencement of work.
  • For larger projects, staged payments may be arranged based on project milestones.
  • We accept bank transfer, cash, and card payments.
  • Full payment is due upon satisfactory completion of the agreed work, unless staged payments have been arranged.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule a booking, please provide at least 48 hours' notice. Late cancellations may be subject to a call-out charge to cover time and materials already allocated.

6. Workmanship Guarantee

We take pride in the quality of our work and offer a workmanship guarantee on all completed projects. If you experience any issues related to our workmanship, please contact us and we will arrange to rectify the problem at no additional cost, subject to fair wear and tear.

7. Liability

  • We carry full public liability insurance to protect you and your property during any work we carry out.
  • Our liability is limited to the value of the work contracted and does not extend to indirect or consequential losses.
  • We are not liable for any pre-existing defects or issues with your property that are not part of the agreed scope of work.

8. Access & Site Conditions

You agree to provide reasonable access to the work area and ensure a safe working environment. If access issues or unsafe conditions prevent us from carrying out the work, we reserve the right to reschedule without penalty.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, design, and branding, is the property of Decor and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this website without our prior written consent.

10. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, we will work with you to find a fair resolution. If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, either party may seek resolution through mediation or the courts of England and Wales.
